Trading Cards 
With trading cards, your students can create a "card" about a fictional person, real person, fictional place, real place, object, event, or even a vocabulary word.  As they fill in the card, they are given guided questions to help them along.  You can have the students complete this activity online or with an app. Students will be able to print their final products.

Socrative
Socrative is a smart student response system that empowers teachers to engage their classrooms through a series of educational exercises and games via smartphones, laptops, and tablets.

ASSESSMENT
Student responses are visually represented for multiple choice, true/false and Short Answer questions. For pre-planned activities a teacher can view reports online as a google spreadsheet or as an emailed Excel file.


To use socrative on the iPad, you'll need the student clicker app and the teacher clicker app.

If you don't want to use the iPad, you can take the students to the computer lab and use the socrative webpage.
